About Les Jardins de la Medina

  • Close Panel

Les Jardins de la Medina is a beautifully restored fomer royal residence laid out around a large central garden, a tranquil spot just a short walk from Marrakech's Royal Palace and the Djemaa el Fna. Combining traditional Moroccan architecture with modern comforts and conveniences, Les Jardins de la Medina is a great choice for visitors keen to explore this exciting historic city and its environs.

There are 36 rooms and suites, individually decorated and furnished in bright textiles. The rooms have large windows and high ceilings and are full of natural light. All rooms have private bathrooms with either bath or shower. Rooms are air conditioned and have heating for cooler months. Additional facilities include TV, 'phone, minibar and safe. Some rooms also have a private terrace, DVD and MP3 players.

The lush gardens offer a place to relax away from the bustle of city life. Palm trees, orange trees and jacarandas are plentiful. Relax in a hammock while listening to birdsong or stroll through the gardens taking in the sweet fragrances. There is a swimming pool in which to escape the heat of the day. The pool is heated in winter. The pool restaurant serves drinks and snacks. For those wanting to be pampered, a range of beauty treatments and massages are offered, as well as a tradtional hammam and jacuzzi. There is also an open air fitness centre, with various exercise machines and weights. The hotel's boutique sells hand made ornaments and gifts, rich textiles, a variety of beauty products and a range of magazines and newspapers. The hotel also hsa a media centre with internet access.

The restaurant, La Karintia, serves tradtional Moroccan and Bedouin food, blending exotic flavours and sprices, as well as Mediterranean and Thai dishes. Pricing guidelines for Morocco

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £250 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Many clients book their own flights with Easyjet or similar.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
