About Les Borjs de la Kasbah

  • Close Panel

Les Borjs de la Kasbah is a relatively recent addition to the Marrakech accommodation scene, having opened in 2006. It comprises 6 small town houses and a riad and has accommodation for up to 32 guests. The decor is traditional and the courtyards offer a peaceful retreat from the lively city streets and markets. The 18 rooms are spread over 4 courtyards containing flowering shrubs and fragrant orange trees and are equipped with air conditioning, minibar, TV, phone and safe. All have ensuite bathrooms. The 3 suites are particularly spacious. There is a comfortable lounge bar and 2 cosy sitting rooms. There is also an internet lounge.

'La Jasmine', the hotel's restaurant, specialises in modern French cuisine and Moroccan  specialities including pastillas, tagines and couscous. Breakfast is a generous buffet, involving fruit juice, fresh fruit, yoghurt, cereal, bread, croissants, pancakes and eggs. Meals can be taken indoors in the tradtionally styled restaurant or on the patio, with its fountain and sliding glass roof.

Unusually for a hotel within the medina, Les Borjs de la Kasbah has a lesiure area with a good sized swimming pool (10m x 5m) and sun terrace with loungers and parasols. The poolside bar serves a range of soft and alcoholic drinks, snacks and light lunches. The excellent spa offers a variety of treatments including hammam, sauna, massage, body wraps, facialis, manicures and pedicures.

The hotel is close to the Royal Palace and the Djemmaa el Fna is just a 15 minute walk away, so the hotel is perfectly placed for exploring the heart of the old city. The hotel staff are happy to arrange excursions further afield, to local villages, towns and sites of interest. They can also organise traditional dancing displays and classical Moroccan music on request.

Pricing guidelines for Morocco

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £250 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Many clients book their own flights with Easyjet or similar.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
