La Bergerie offers a warm welcome to its guests. The 10 rooms in the main house are simply furnished in bright coloured textiles and wooden furniture. The whitewashed stone walls keep the rooms cool in summer while the open fires and wooden stoves ensure the rooms are warm and cosy in winter. Each room has an ensuite shower room and a private garden. In addition there are several garden suites located throughout the gardens, offering more spacious accommodation. These stone built bungalows all have a private terrace.
La Bergerie has 12 acres of grounds with pathways connecting the different areas. There are lawns, trees, terraces and a varierty of plants including fragrant rosemary and lavender, mingling with the fresh scent of pine. The central swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers where guests can relax. There is also a shaded seating area. Drinks and meals can be enjoyed al fresco in summer.
The restaurant has a distinctly French feel and serves a mixture of local and French dishes. The large open fireplace and wooden ceiling beams add to the cosy atnosphere. Guests can enjoy great views of the gardens and mountains while they dine. There is a separate bar area for pre and post dinner drinks where guests can chat over the day's events. Traditional bar games such as billiards and darts are available.
Activities include circular walks from the inn, trekking in the foothills, mountain biking and horse riding. Alternatively guests can opt to relax in the attractive gardens and simply enjoy the views of the Atlas Mountains.
