About La Bergerie

  • Close Panel

La Bergerie offers a warm welcome to its guests. It offers traditional inn-style accommodation and guest facilities and is a perfect base from which to venture into the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. The 10 rooms in the main house are simply furnished in bright coloured textiles and wooden furniture. The whitewashed stone walls keep the rooms cool in summer while the open fires and wooden stoves ensure the rooms are warm and cosy in winter. Each room has an ensuite shower room and a private garden. In addition there are several garden suites located throughout the gardens, offering more spacious accommodation. These stone built bungalows all have a private terrace.

La Bergerie has 12 acres of grounds with pathways connecting the different areas. There are lawns, trees, terraces and a varierty of plants including fragrant rosemary and lavender, mingling with the fresh scent of pine. The central swimming pool is surrounded by sun loungers where guests can relax. There is also a shaded seating area. Drinks and meals can be enjoyed al fresco in summer.

The restaurant has a distinctly French feel and serves a mixture of local and French dishes. The large open fireplace and wooden ceiling beams add to the cosy atnosphere. Guests can enjoy great views of the gardens and mountains while they dine. There is a separate bar area for pre and post dinner drinks where guests can chat over the day's events. Traditional bar games such as billiards and darts are available.

Activities include circular walks from the inn, trekking in the foothills, mountain biking and horse riding. Alternatively guests can opt to relax in the attractive gardens and simply enjoy the views of the Atlas Mountains.

Pricing guidelines for Morocco

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £250 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Many clients book their own flights with Easyjet or similar.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
