Stay in an authentic seventeenth century Berber kasbah, situated on the outskirts of the desert oasis town of Skoura. The kasbah has been lovingly restored by its owners using traditional craftsmen, materials, and methods.
The food is good, and there are options to dine either indoors or out. There are 16 rooms, within the kasbah, all of which are simply but comfortably furnished. Only three of the rooms are not equipped with en-suite facilities.
It is possible to observe wonderful sunsets and starscapes from the fortified roof terrace. During daylight hours the terrace offers equally spectacular views over the oasis, out to the desert and mountains beyond.
This is a truly unique accommodation, which combines character and authenticity with good standards of service.
