About Hotel Tichka

  • Close Panel

Hotel Tichka successfully combines the convenience of modern amenities with traditional Moroccan architecture and styling, creating an inviting and enticing hotel in the northern part of Marrakech. The splendid entrance lobby with its high atrium sets the scene for this stylish hotel. All main areas are lavishly decorated based on tradtional Moroccan designs to great effect. There are 130 guest bedrooms, all with air conditioning, TV, phone, minibar, safe and ensuite bathroom. There is 24-hour room service.

Outside the hotel has pretty gardens and lawns and a magnificent swimming pool. The terrace is furnished with wrought iron tables and chairs and is the perfect place for an al fresco breakfast or buffet lunch. There are 2 restaurants - 'Restaurant Ambar' serves predominantly international cuisine while 'Johara' concentrates on local Moroccan dishes. Both are opulently decorated in different colours. The welcoming bar has a ceiling of beaten copper and here fellow guests can mingle after a day's sightseeing. The comfy chairs and sofas in the lounge areas invite guests to relax away from the heat of the day. Additional facilities include a traditonal hammam (steam bath), massage, a sauna and solarium. The hotel also has a library and shop. For the sports enthusiasts, golf is available nearby.

The hotel's proximity to Marrakech's medina (a 10 minute taxi ride) makes this a perfect base from which to explore the famous souks, museums, palaces, gardens and of course the Djemmaa el Fna, afterwards returning to the space and tranquility of the Tichka. The hotel can also organise excursions into the High Atlas, trekking and camel riding.

Pricing guidelines for Morocco

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £250 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Many clients book their own flights with Easyjet or similar.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
