About Dar el Ghalia

  • Close Panel

Situated in the heart of the medina, the beautiful family-run riad of Dar el Ghalia offers a sea of tranquillity amidst the hustle-bustle of the city.

All 12 rooms open out onto the huge central courtyard, which is exquisitely furnished with Moroccan artefacts. The food here is very highly rated, and meals are served in the rooftop restaurant, which affords a spectacular view of the city.

There are a variety of different room types, each named after ancestors of the family who still own and run it. Each room is en-suite, and other facilities include lounge areas, internet access, and traditional hammam.

Pricing guidelines for Morocco

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £200 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). We offer flights with Royal Air Maroc which has daily flights to Marrakech as well as good connections to other cities.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
