Caves & Tortoise Reserves - Rodrigues
There are two large underground caves open to the public in the south west of Rodrigues. These are fascinating areas of limestone formations some streching for miles and giving a great insight to the geology of this are of the island.
Diving - Rodrigues
The diving around Rodrigues is some of the best in the Indian Ocean and a great place to have the reefs to yourself as it is far from the main tourist track!

Mauritius has more than 700 species of indigenous plants. Tropical flowers decorate the island and many species are endangered.
