About Paradise Cove

  • Close Panel

Paradise Cove is a stylish hotel offering spacious accommodation in a stunning setting overlooking the Indian Ocean. The hotel is 5kms from the popular village of Grand Baie. The lively local market of Goodlands is just a few minutes away and makes an enjoyable excursion. The hotel has a well-maintained tropical garden as well as a private beach. There are also 2 fresh water infinity pools.

All 67 guest rooms have been recently refurbished and feature wooden furniture and vibrant silks reflecting the bright colours of the sky, ocean and garden. All have either a balcony of terrace with views of the garden or sea. The ensuite bathrooms are well equipped and spacious. Rooms also have telephone, TV, minibar and 24 hour room service.

The main restaurant offers varied cuisines including Asian, African Creole and Indian. The romantic 'La Cocoteraie' has thatched huts on stilts seating 2, perfect for a romantic meal and the beach bar offers more casual lunch and drinks. The coktail terrace also serves snacks, with tea and pancakes being an afternoon speciality.

There are many water based activities including waterskiing, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking and cruises in a glass bottomed boat. There is also a gym and tennis courts for the more energetic. Scuba diving can also be arranged for a small fee. The Cinq Mondes Spa offers a broad spectrum of treatments including massage, hammam and beauty treatments, all payable locally.

Pricing guidelines for Mauritius

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £900 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Mauritius combines well with South Africa.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:

  £50 to £100

  £200 to £300

I loved this place!  A very bohemian, north African kind of feel to the decor and because the property wraps itself around a private cove, the beach area is very secluded.  The views from the headland beyond the rooms over to the north and the Indian Ocean are really something else. The hotel is popular with honeymooners, it's very couply and not the place to send a family, but if you are a couple or on honeymoon and want something smaller than most hotels on Mauritius in a quiet location, then it's perfect.
