Heuglin's Lodge which is names after the brightly coloured Heuglin's Robin which is found in the gardens, is run by Wilderness Safaris. It's a lovely big house which has been convered into a guest lodge set in large gardens in the leafy northern suburbs of Lilongwe, Malawi's capital city. There are six rooms, some en-suite and a large lounge with a library, bar and TV. Excellent chefs produce plentiful home cooked food. A well matured garden with a 5 metre swimming pool adds to the comfort factor and has a very relaxed atmosphere.
This is an ideal start or end to a holiday in Malawi and also a perfect base for looking around the capital or can be used as a day room stop over on the way to the airport.
