About Naibor Camp

  • Close Panel

Naibor Camp is a striking combination of contemporary style and bush living. Occupying a prime position overlooking the Talek River in the southern section of the Masai Mara, Naibor Camp has 7 spacious pale canvas tents, complete with king size beds with soft quilts and wide cushion-strewn sofas. The tents are set in the shade of acacia trees and each has a private veranda, his & hers wash basins and en suite bathroom with a flush toilet. All the tents are furnished with solid, comfortable furniture.

Naibor Camp''s main ‘mess' tent is located centrally overlooking the Talek River where animals regularly come to drink. Comfortable floor cushions, rugs and sofas offer relaxation while the camp fire provides a welcome spot for pre-dinner drinks in the evening. Meals are made from the finest fresh ingredients prepared by experienced chefs. Dinner is served at either the long banquet table or at private tables under the stars, whilst breakfast and lunch may either be served in camp or as a picnic during a morning of game watching.

The camp's location offers exciting viewing points at migration time as the wildebeest and zebra pass through this area of the Mara Reserve on their quest for water and grazing. It is also a wonderful year-round location where game viewing is always guaranteed to be spectacular. Apart from game drives, other activities include guided bush walks on the edge of the reserve. This is an opportunity to be able to witness and enjoy the surroundings from a totally different perspective where suddenly the smaller and sometimes overlooked aspects of the wild come to life, their significance in the broader ecology becoming apparent.

Naibor Spa offers massages, reflexology, foot scrubs, manicures and pedicures and other luxuruies on the shady banks of the Talek River.

Power is provided by solar for most of the day.

Little Naibor provides exclusive suites away from the main camp with it's own staff.

Pricing guidelines for Kenya

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £400 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Kenya combines well with Tanzania or Uganda.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
