With 6 cottages and one deluxe villa, Waterlovers offers privacy and personal service in a perfect beachfront location. The cottages and villa all have air conditioning, fans, mosquito nets and tea and coffee making equipment. Each cottage has a private ocean view veranda. Their design is a blend of local Swahili and Mediterranean. The villa can provide accommodation for up to eight people, so is perfect for families or groups of friends.
Facilities include 'Tides' restaurant, serving fresh and tasty Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, whose menus change daily. There is also a beach bar where guests can relax and chat over cocktails and aperitifs. The infinity pool (in the shape of a turtle!) has views across the beach to the sea.
A range of activities is available, including windsurfing and kitesurfing, diving, snorkelling and big game fishing. Other sports offered nearby include tennis and golf. Waterlovers can arrange a variety of excursions to such places as the local fishing village, Wasini Island and Kisite Marine Park with its coral gardens and abundant marine life. The beach is bordered by rainforest, home to many exotic birds and a rare breed of Colobus monkey. The Shimba Hills natural reserve, with its elephants, buffalos and antelopes among others, is just a short drive inland from Diani Beach.
