About The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille

    • Close Panel

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille is located its own wildlife conservancy, an area of grassy hills and deep valleys, heavily wooded with many acacia species and African olives. Its sandy laghas are bordered by great stands of fig and fever trees. It is named for Ol Lentille, a 1,977m hill from the top of which (an easy scramble) there are astonishing views. The Conservancy is home to the endangered African wild dog, greater kudu, leopard, striped and spotted hyena, and klipspringer.

The Sanctuary at Ol Lentille offers luxurious accommodation and facilities and opportunities for a range of activities including game walks and drives, by day and night, ligh aircraft and helicopter flights, horse-riding, mountain biking and rock climbing and even a bush skills course. Alternatively guests can choose to relax at The Sanctuary. The horizon pool area has lounging 'pods' and is situated near the bar and dining deck, where the best quality food and drink can be enjoyed. The Sanctuary facilities also include a spa with treatments including aromatherapy, relexology, massage and beauty treatments. There is an art gallery and a shop, for your day-to-day needs. The Sanctuary also has a library housing books and games, where guests can read, write and chat. On the top of the rotunda library building there is a viewing deck with a GPS-powered telescope giving great views over the surrounding scenery.

The four houses are all unique in design and each is staffed and serviced by a butler, valet, guide - a local Maasai (with private vehicle) and askari, to take care of all of your needs. Guests with young children can also have the services of an ayah.

The Sanctuary practises conservation tourism and has strong links with the local community. Guests who wish to can participate in community and conservation projects during their stay.

    Pricing guidelines for Kenya

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £400 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Kenya combines well with Tanzania or Uganda.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
