    About Mara Intrepids Camp

    • Close Panel

Mara Intrepids Camp is located at the confluence of the Masai Mara's 4 game-viewing areas, in one of the most spectacular locations in the Mara ecosystem. Mara Intrepids Lodge is a short drive from the Mara River, where more than a million wildebeest and zebra make their perilous migration crossing every July and August.

The lodge is divided into 4 distinct areas, with separate dining areas and 'mess tents' ensuring exclusivity for larger groups travelling together. Mara Intrepids Lodge consists of 30 tents spreading over a large riverside site. Guests sleep in large beds with reproduction furniture and modern en-suite bathrooms with hot showers. The secluded raised platforms offer views over the river. There is also a large dining terrace beside the swimming pool and sunbathing terrace and small riverfront dining areas with private catering. The lodge facilities include a restaurant serving classic Intrepids cuisine, a bar, an elevated game-viewing platform with drinks service, a conference room with business and video facilities, bush boutique with souvenirs and safari essentials, a reliable telephone, e-mail, fax and postal services.

Mara Intrepids Lodge safaris offer a unique game-viewing adventure, including 3 daily game drives with experienced guides, educational outings with the camps famous Adventurers' Club, and trips to Maasai villages where Mara Intrepids Lodge supports several community development projects.

    Pricing guidelines for Kenya

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £400 to £800 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Kenya combines well with Tanzania or Uganda.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
