Cottar's Camp

Cottar's Camp is in the South East of the Masai Mara, bordering the Serengeti and Loliondo reserves in Tanzania. It is located within a 22,000 acre exclusive wildlife concession. The camp has 5 spacious tents luxuriously furnished with safari antiques from the 1920s, giving an atmosphere reminiscent of a past era of romance, adventure and elegance. Each tent has private en-suite dressing rooms/bathrooms with safari-style canvas baths, bucket showers and flushing lavatories plus traditional paraffin lights. The Cottar'’s Safari tradition began in 1919. Nearly ninety years on, the family continues to provide this unparalleled safari experience to discerning clients from all over the world.

Activities available include day and night game drives, guided bush walks, river swimming and fishing. Alternatively guests can relax at the camp, which has a tented reading room with a range of books and magazines. There is a also a natural rock swimming pool with surrounding hammocks. The camp also offers massage, manicures and pedicures.
