Crusader Castles
Built in the 12th Century, Jordan's Crusader castles are some of the finest examples of military architecture in the middle-east.
Jerash
Only 50 kilometres from Amman, Jerash is one of the best preserved, most dramatic and explorable Roman cities in the Middle East. It is a must-see for all visitors to the country.
Mount Nebo
A high ridge of land, over 800 metre above sea level, Mount Nebo commands stunning views over the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea and beyond. On a clear day, you can even see the spires of Jerusalem glistening in the distance.
Petra
One of the most famous archeological site in the Middle East, it is impossible to visit Jordan without spending at least a day at Petra. Immortalised as the "rose red city half as old as time", the wonderful history, archeology and scenery of Petra is outstanding.
