Trek Petra

This wonderful trekking holiday in Jordan includes a 6-day trek which takes you through the beautiful scenery of Dana Nature Reserve, skirts the Jordanian Desert, and picks up an ancient Bedouin migration route that leads through the mountains to the famed rose red city of Petra.

Few westerners have crossed this dramatic terrain, and apart from your support team, you are likely to have the mountains to yourself.

Finish the trek by hiking from Little Petra along a little-used trail to finish at the monastery high above the city of Petra.

This is arranged on a tailor made basis.

Pricing guidelines for Jordan

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £500 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers).

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
