Petra Palace Hotel is a comfortable property located only 300 metres from the entrance to the archealogical site of Petra, 1 kilometre from the town of Wadi Musa and 7 kilometres from Little Petra. There are some 180 guest rooms, all with ensuite bathroom, air conditioning, TV and telephone. Although simply furnished, they are clean and comfortable. The rooms have views of either the mountains or the hotel's gardens. Some of the luxury rooms open out onto the terrace.
The Al-Dara Restaurant serves both local and international dishes. The lobby lounge is a comfortable area in which guests can relax and chat, while the cosy bar combines the appeal of an English-style pub and local Nabatean decor. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, the outdoor pool being heated. A Turkish bath is planned to open in the near future.
