Located about a mile from the world famous Taj Mahal, the low rise Trident Agra is a modern hotel which is an excellent base for exploring Agra. Built of red stone reminiscent of the Mughal era, the hotel is set amidst beautiful gardens yet has all the facilitiies you would expect in a contemporary hotel.
There are 135 deluxe rooms and 2 suites. The rooms have views of either the large, landscaped central courtyard and swimming pool or the lovely gardens, lawn and trees. All rooms and suites are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, 'phone, minibar, tea and coffee making facilities and ensuite bathroom. The spacious suites also have a living room.
The restaurant, located by the pool, offers Indian and western food, and there is a bar in the lobby serving a selection of spirits, wines and cocktails.
