Itinerary
- Day 1:
Arrive in Delhi. You will be met and transferred to your hotel. Overnightat The Park Hotel.
- Day 2:
Early morning flight to Leh. Transfer to hotel. Free time to acclimatise. (FB)
- Day 3:
Sight seeing at local monasteries with guide. (FB)
- Day 4:
Sight seeing at local monasteries with guide. (FB)
- Day 5:
Transfer by jeep to Spituk. Trek to Jingchen. (FB)
- Day 6:
Trek to Yurutse. (FB)
- Day 7:
Trek from Yurutse via Ganda La to Shingo. (FB)
- Day 8:
Trek to Skiu – with optional walk to Zanskar River. (FB)
- Day 9:
Trek along the banks of the river to Markha village. (FB)
- Day 10:
Trek via Humlung monastery and Hankar to Tchatchutse. (FB)
- Day 11:
Walk to Nimaling one of the most beautiful high valleys in Ladakh. (FB)
- Day 12:
Ascent to the summit of Kong Maru and down to Shang village in the Indus Valley. (FB)
- Day 13:
Follow the river bed and a gently rising trail to Hemis. (FB)
- Day 14:
Morning in Hemis and visiting a monastery en route to Leh. (FB)
- Day 15:
Fly from Leh to Delhi. Overnight Park Hotel. (FB)
- Day 16:
Free time in Delhi and transfer to airport for flight home. (B)

Our trips are tailor made for you and prices vary according to the accommodation used, the number of people in the party and time of year. As a guide price for two people travelling together and sharing one room this itinerary would cost from £1820 per person plus international flights.

Is it for you?
This is rated as moderate to challenging. This is a high altitude trek and some of the paths are steep so you need to be physically fit, but there is no technical climbing involved. There will be porters to carry your heavier bags so you need only to carry a small backpack with your requirements for the day. You need to be comfortable with camping.
Best times to go
Ladakh enjoys its best climate from June to September. You should be prepared for it to get cold at night.
