    About Wildflower Hall

    • Close Panel

45 minutes drive from the hill town of Shimla, Wildflower Hall is a fairy-tale luxury resort and spa located in the forested foothills of the Himalayas at an altitude of  2,500 metres (8,350 feet). This was once the summer retreat of Lord Kitchener, and was rebuilt in a grand style after a fire in the 1990s by the Oberoi group as a purpose-built luxury hotel.

Set in 23 acres of virgin forest, each of the 87 rooms offers excellent mountain views. The rooms are all fitted with teak floors, marble bathrooms and are furnished with colonial decor as well as all modern facilities. There is an excellent restaurant, and a gym and heated indoor swimming pool. Wildflower Hall is famous for its spa faculties, with a wide range of treatments available.

For those looking for a more active stay, horse riding, mountain biking, white water rafting and trekking are all offered in the mountains and valleys around Wildflower Hall. It is also an ideal base for exploring the historic town of Shimla.

    Pricing guidelines for India

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
