About The Orchid

  • Close Panel

The Orchid is set in over 10 acres of lush gardens with trees, shrubs and lawns all well tended by the attentive staff, making this a true haven of tranquility in this busy city, despite being just a few kilometres from both the international and domestic airports. The attractive hotel building has an imposing entrance leading to a spacious lobby complete with comfy sofas and chairs. Outside, guests can relax by the swimming pool, reputedly one of the largest in Delhi, play tennis, use the jogging track or practise golf on the putting greens.

The guest rooms and suites are very well equipped, each having air conditioning, TV, DVD player, internet access, phone, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and mineral water. All have an ensuite bathroom. Some rooms also have a private balcony.

Bonitos Restaurant and Bar serves both international and local cuisine in a relaxes atmosphere. There is also a snack bar by the swimming pool, serving the Bonitos bar menu during the day. Cakes and pastries can be enjoyed in the lounge.

Other services include a travel desk, laundry and 24 hour room service. There is a health club offering yoga, sauna, jacuzzi and massage as well as a fully equipped fitness centre. It should be noted that this hotel is about 15 kilometres from central Delhi.

Pricing guidelines for India

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
