    About The Imperial

    • Close Panel

The Imperial in New Delhi is recognised as one of the best hotels in the world. This elegant white building, set in three acres of lush gardens with Royal palms, is a 231-room hotel that offers outstanding accommodation, service and food in a beautiful setting –everything you’d expect from an international luxury hotel, but with a classic Indian feel.

All rooms and suites at The Imperial have, at the very least, magnificent marble baths, private bars, climate control, high-speed wireless internet, a 32” satellite TV, luxurious furniture and exceptionally high-quality bedlinen. The Imperial’s spectacular Lutyens Suite has sitting and dining areas, a study, and a superb master bedroom with four-poster bed, and an ensuite bathroom that has a large shower cubicle, steam room, sauna, Jacuzzi, double vanity counter and WC cubicle with bidet.

In an establishment that prides itself on meeting its guests’ needs, it’s not surprising that The Imperial boasts a range of very high quality bars and restaurants to suit every taste. Whether you want international cuisine or sumptuous Indian fare, there will be a restaurant at The Imperial that’s right for you. The Spice Route is a renowned restaurant at The Imperial and was heralded as one of the top ten restaurants in the world by Condé Nast Traveller.

The Imperial also has an excellent fitness centre, swimming pool, beauty salon and barber shop and a new spa and a tennis court. The hotel is just steps away from the shopping and cultural attractions of the city. Since its inception, over 70 years ago, the hotel has been a repository of art and a home to many famous artists. Known as a museum hotel, it proudly displays a priceless collection of the ‘British Art on India.’

    Pricing guidelines for India

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
