Close to the quieter Mukki Gate on the edge of Kanha National Park, Singinawa is a beautiful jungle lodge with 12 secluded cottages set amidst lush greenery. Each cottage is built of local stone and slate, and features air conditioning and fireplaces, as well as large private verandas. Two of the cottages and the main building are designed for disabled access.
The intricately carved doors of the main building open into a colonial-style lounge and library and a grand dining room, with a terrace barbeque area where you can watch the stars. The forested grounds also include a spa and swimming pool, and cover a large area backing onto the buffer zone of Kanha National Park. Birds and deer can be found within the lodge grounds, and is a great area for walking and relaxing.
The lodge arranges jeep safaris inside the park with their own experienced naturalist guides and vehicles, and can also arrange walking safaris in the buffer zone of the park and visits to local villages and schools. The lodge has its own farm, producing organic vegetables and teaching the local villages new farming methods.
