    About Saubagh Bed and Breakfast

    • Close Panel

Meera Dass, a school teacher in India and abroad, decided to take premature retirement, open her home, and run a Bed & Breakfast home-stay. Saubagh Bed & Breakfast is centrally located - 15 minutes away from the New Delhi Railway Station, 25 minutes away from the domestic airport and 35 minutes away from the international airport. Trees surround the home and you can hear the birds and squirrels as you sip your morning cup of tea. There are three well-appointed and air-conditioned rooms with attached bathrooms. The two bedrooms on the second floor have a separate entrance and are also accessible from within the house. The sitting area has television and music and guests are free to use the refrigerator in the kitchen. The third bedroom is on the ground floor. The whole idea is to feel comfortable and at home.

The Dass family live downstairs. Every guest receives personalised attention, yet are left well alone. Meera is always at hand to talk and share. She personally sees to the authentic Indian cuisine the home provides. Breakfast offers a choice of Western or Indian fare. The Dass family has lived in Singapore, Indonesia and Romania for several years and knows what it is like to have home comforts when travelling. They look forward to meeting people from across the globe and making new friends.

    Pricing guidelines for India

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
