About Oberoi Maidens

  • Close Panel

The Oberoi Maidens is a well-known hotel in Delhi occupying a beautiful colonial building dating back to 1903 and set in 8 acres of lawned gardens, a haven of tranquility from the hustle of the city. With its high ceilings and spacious rooms the hotel exudes old world charm and elegance. There are 53 guest room and suites, all with air conditioning, television, phone and minibar. In addition guests are given free mineral water, fruit and biscuits. The ensuite bathrooms are well equipped.

Guests have free range of the extensive grounds with their lush lawns and trees offering shade from the heat of the sun, a peaceful place away from the hustle and bustle of city life. There is a good sized swimming pool and tennis courts, for more active guests. Additional facilities include a health club, money changer, travel desk and shops.

There are 2 restaurants. The Curzon Room is furnished to reflect the era of the British Raj. There are numerous photographs depicting typical scenes from the turn of the 20th century. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner, with lunch being a varied buffet and offering an a la carte menu for dinner. Both Indian and European cuisine is served. The Garden Terrace is an informal coffee shop with an attractive open courtyard. It is open all day, serving Indian and continental dishes. The Cavalry Bar is just the place for a quiet drink, intimate and cosy, serving a range of cocktails and beverages.

The hotel is well placed for many of Delhi's famous Muhgal monuments including the Red Fort and Jama Masjid. Chandni Chowk, a busy shopping centre, is also nearby. It is just a 15 minute drive to Connaught Place, at the heart of New Delhi, a popular shopping and eating venue for tourists in the city. Old Dehli railway station is just 4kms from the hotel and the airport is 24kms away, making it easily accessible.

Pricing guidelines for India

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
