Krishna Jungle Resort is a small wildlife lodge close to the main gate of Kanha National Park at Kisili. It has 31 rooms that are simply furnished. The owners are very happy not to concentrate on abject luxury but on providing a good lodge where the emphasis is on the wildlife viewing. To that end they employ some excellent naturalists who really make a tiger safari a great experience.
I think this is a very good choice if you are looking for mid-range accommodation at Kanha National Park. The food is good, there is a swimming pool and there are evening presentations and film shows about the park and wider issues of tiger conservation. It is a good place to be based for an Indian tiger safari but of course Kanha has a great deal more to see than just tigers. The diversity and numbers of wildlife are extensive.
