    About Fateh Prakesh

    • Close Panel

The Fateh Prakesh Palace Hotel is a part of the City Palace complex in the heart of Udaipur, built in the early 20th century during the reign of Maharana Fateh Singhji, now operated by the HRH group under the stewardship of the current Maharana of Udaipur.

The hotel consists of two separate parts, with 7 suites with the palace itself, and 21 dovecote rooms in a separate wing. The palace itself is famous for its exquisite chandeliers, fine paintings and unique crystals, and all the suites are decorated with period furniture and authentic paintings. The dovecote rooms have a separate entrance leading to a newly renovated wing, with most of the rooms face Lake Pichola with great views over the lake and to the Aruvali hills beyond.

Fateh Prakesh has its own bar and restaurant and also has access to the facilities of the adjacent Shiv Niwas Palace Hotel, also within the City Palace complex and just a few minutes walk way. This includes a second restaurant, swimming pool and ayuverdic massage centre.

    Pricing guidelines for India

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
