    About Barwara Kothi

    • Close Panel

Barwara Kothi is a colonial villa dating back to the early 20th century. Inspired by Lutyens Delhi it has a distinct ‘Raj’ feel to it and is spread over 2000 sq. yards.

The ‘kothi’ , which is a mansion house, was the residence in Jaipur of the Barwara Royal Family. The kothi was constructed by Raja Man Singh of Barwara, a World War II veteran and an accomplished polo player who was a close confidante and cousin of the late Maharaja of Jaipur, Man Singhji. The kothi evokes the serenity and nostalgia of the Raj with rooms furnished with traditional furniture, antiques and photographs reminiscent of life back then.

The kothi is 500 metres from Jai Mahal and 1km from Raj Bhawan. The immdiate area around the kothi is a residential suburb of Jaipur. The back of the property has sloping green lawns and lush foliage.

    Pricing guidelines for India

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £450 to £700 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). India combines well with Nepal.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
