La Pinta offers sylish yet informal expedition cruising around the Galapagos Islands. The 16 well appointed outside cabins offer space not found on many of the ships cruising the Galapagos Islands, and interconnecting and triple cabins are ideal for families. As well as facilities such as a jacuzzi, gym, sea kayaks and a glass bottom boat, La Pinta features state of the art interpretation equipment. This includes communication between naturalists and guests via wireless receiver and earphone, and equipment for submarine interpretation.

Pricing guidelines for Galapagos Islands

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights to Quito or Guayaquil will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). You will also need internal flights from the mainland to the islands which cost about £275 to £350. A Galapagos National Park tax is payable on arrival - currently $100. A few yachts also offer shorter or longer cruises. Charter cruises are also available. Please ask for details.

These prices do not include return flights from Quito or Guyaquil or international flights.
