About Eric, Flamingo and Letty

  • Close Panel

Eric, Flamingo I and Letty are identical motor yachts built in the early 1990s. They accommodate up to 20 passengers each in 10 outside cabins spread over 3 decks, with window or porthole views. Each cabin has either a double bed or 2 twin beds and all haev ensuite bathroom with hot water shower. The cabins have individual climate control.

There is a dining room where Ecuadorian and international dishes are enjoyed, a well-stocked bar and a lounge. The latter incorporates a conference area with flat screen TV, DVD player and library. The interiors are of polished teak wood with shiny brass fittings, and picture windows on the upper two decks offer panoramic views. Outside is a spacious sundeck equipped with comfortable sun loungers. The boats carry snorkelling equipment, wet suits and kayaks for guest use.

We regard these yachts very highly, as they have obtained the 'Smart Voyager' certificate for excellence in conservation and environmental responsibility, and they are small (maximum 20 passengers) yet have two very good naturalist guides on board.

Pricing guidelines for Galapagos Islands

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights to Quito or Guayaquil will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). You will also need internal flights from the mainland to the islands which cost about £275 to £350. A Galapagos National Park tax is payable on arrival - currently $100. A few yachts also offer shorter or longer cruises. Charter cruises are also available. Please ask for details.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
