About Angermeyer Waterfront Inn

  • Close Panel

Located next to the famous Angermeyer's Point restaurant, the Waterfront Inn opened in 2007 and provides comfortable accommodation on the waterfront overlooking the bay. It is within easy reach of downtown Puerto Ayora and has its own beach and is a few minutes walk from the beach at Finch Bay.

The comfortable rooms all have ensuite bathrooms, television, internet access and ceiling fans. Six of the nine rooms are in the main building and the remaining three are located in 'La Casa', a quiet house in the hotel grounds.

The inn has a guest lounge and offers a full bar service. The generous buffet breakfast is served on the patio each morning, where guests can enjoy fresh fruit, juice, homemade rolls, pancakes and cheese. The waterfront location provides excellent views of Academy Bay and of Santa Cruz island. The inn provides a laundry service (for a small fee) and can arrange transfers to and from the airport.

This is a perfect place to relax and a stay here can be combined with a cruise of the islands. The port town of Puerto Ayora, with its restaurants, bars and shops, is just a two minute water taxi ride away. The world famous Charles Darwin Research Centre is on the outskirts of the town.

Pricing guidelines for Galapagos Islands

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights to Quito or Guayaquil will add from about £750 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). You will also need internal flights from the mainland to the islands which cost about £275 to £350. A Galapagos National Park tax is payable on arrival - currently $100. A few yachts also offer shorter or longer cruises. Charter cruises are also available. Please ask for details.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
