  1. Devil's Nose

    Take a train ride up to a high ridge known as the Devil's Nose. This is a famous stretch of railway line, which zigzags its way up the steep inclines.

  2. Equatorial Monument

    The Ciudad Mitad del Mundo (city of the Middle of the World) is a cultural and commercial centre which takes in the Equator monument itself which was built in 1979, and is a copy of the original one which was here for 43 yrs.

  3. Ingapirca

    Ingapirca is Ecuador's most famous set of Inca ruins. Ingapirca means 'stone wall' and it was built in the 15th century by the Incas. Soldiers were stationed here on the road between Quito and Cusco.
