Hotel el Relicario del Carmen is an attractive buidling dating back to 1705 newly converted to an intimate and elegantly furnished hotel. The hotel is located is just one block from the main square, Plaza de la Independencia, and there are many historic sites plus a choice of restaurants in the area, making this a great base in the Old Town. All 18 rooms are individually furnished and boast original features such as beamed ceilings as well as modern amenities. The ensuite bathrooms are modern and well equipped. Throughout the building features locally handmade furniture and original artwork.
A generous buffet breakfast is served each morning, including fruit juice, freshly baked bread and pastries, eggs and cereals. The cosy dining room serves tasty meals accompanied by fine wines. Despite being so close to the main square, the hotel is quiet and makes for a relaxing stay. The staff are friendly and attentive.
