This lovely 26 room pousada is located in the heart of Paraty's historic centre. The rooms are large and spacious and are divided into luxury, junior suites and one master suite. Some of the rooms are interconnecting. All rooms are ensuite with air conditioning, phone, minibar, safety deposit box and a TV with inhouse video channel. The communal areas are bright and airy and include the Captain's Bar which is open to the public. Facilities include an outside pool, sauna, massage, games room, business centre and limited room service. Breakfast only is served at the pousada. The reception staff are friendly and English is spoken. There are plans to build 4 deluxe suites.

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £900 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Brazil combines with Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands due to scheduled flights, so, for example, it makes a good beach stop after Peru or Ecuador.
