The Tivoli Eco Resort Praia do Forte has 293 rooms set behind miles of white sand beach. There are a number of restaurants and bars (including a 24 hour bar), swimming pools, tennis courts and games rooms. The Thalasso Spa offers a beauty salon, facial and body care, fitness centre, pilates, therapy rooms, saunas and a heated pool. Various activities can be arranged including diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, kayaking, fishing and guided hikes. There is also a kids club for 4 -12 year olds. The Tivoli Eco Resort Praia do Forte is within an environmental protection area which restricts construction, prohibits the clearing of vegetation and restricts the use of beachfront lights to minimise the impact on nesting turtles. The Eco Resort also supports the Garcia D'Ávila Foundation which supports a number of community projects in the area.

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £900 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Brazil combines with Peru, Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands due to scheduled flights, so, for example, it makes a good beach stop after Peru or Ecuador.
