About Chobe Safari Lodge

  • Close Panel

Chobe Safari Lodge is situated in northern Botswana, where the Chobe, Linyanti and Kwando river system forms a landscape of lakes, islands and floodplains. There is an abundance of wild game and bird life in this area and Chobe Safari Lodge offers guests many game veiwing opportunities.

The accommodation is either in air-conditoned, spacious safari rooms (about 40) or river rooms (22) with ceiling fans, (11 are upstairs with balconies). There are also 8 'rondavel' chalet rooms in the gardens. Both types of room have en-suite bathrooms. There are also larger safari rooms ideal for families.

The terrace restaurant overlooks the Chobe River and there are cocktail and sunset bars where guests can mingle and relax. The lodge also has a swimming pool, a beauty salon, an internet cafe and a shop.

Activities offered include game drives in Chobe National Park, boat cruises, walking and bird watching safaris (seasonal) so guests can make the most of the game and bird life. Other possible activities include fishing, visiting a Namibian village and scenic flights over the rivers.

Pricing guidelines for Botswana

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
