Central Kalahari Game Reserve
The Central Kalahari Game Reserve is one of the world's largest game reserves. Originally set up as a refuge for the San Bushmen, it is also home to a surprisingly diverse range of wildlife given that it is a desert environment.
Chobe National Park
Chobe is the second largest national park in Botswana and is particularly well known for its huge herds of elephants which congregate by the Chobe River at certain times of the year.
Linyanti, Selinda & Kwando Reserves
A great wildlife viewing area north of the Okavango Delta where major rivers meet. Private concessions mean that you can enjoy bush walks and night drives as well as traditional daylight game viewing by vehicle.
Makgadikgadi Pans
The Makgadikgadi Pans, on the northern edge of Botswana's Kalahari Desert are vast salt pans left over from the gradual evaporation of a massive ancient lake.
Moremi Game Reserve
The Moremi Game Reserve is in the heart of the Okavango Delta and many visitors regard it as the most spectacular and beautiful game park in Southern Africa.
Nxai Pan National Park
Nxai Pan National Park sits north of the Maun - Nata road and joins Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. This area has a fascinating history and some interesting fossil sites as well as being home to desert adapted wildlife.
Okavango Delta
The jewel of Botswana, and one of the best wildlife reserves in southern Africa, is of course the famous Okavango Delta with the Moremi Wildlife Reserve at its heart. This as a 'must' for anyone taking a Botswana safari.
Tuli Block
The Tuli Block is very different to anywhere else in Botswana. It has dramatic rocky outcrops and dry riverbeds and contains the Tuli Game Reserve. Walking, cycling and horse riding are popular here.
