Water and Wildlife

A mobile safari staying in lodges, with a private vehicle and guide, and traversing some of Botswana's best scenery. The type of travel allows you to fully appreciate the subtle changes in the environment as you move from one area to the next by land. You learn about the geography as well as the wildlife.  In contrast to the constant comings and goings of fly-in safaris, this safari offers you chance to enjoy continuity and an opportunity to get to know your guide and fellow travellers in small groups (6-12 guests).

Before the trip, you may decide to visit Victoria Falls, you can fly into Livingstone and we can add a few nights there if you wish . Starting in Kasane, the safari takes you through Chobe National Park with a wealth of wildlife into the Namibian Caprivi Strip where you can enjoy time along the rivers and visit out of the way sights such as Mahango National Park and Tsodilo Hills - one of the best places in Africa to view San Rock Art.  Then into the famous Okavango Delta region and ending in Moremi Game Reserve with its wonderful array of animals and variety of activities.  Ending in Maun, you can choose to add on a few more nights either in the Okavango or further south in the contrasting Kalahari region - ask us for details of add on options.
