Meet & greet in Maun, Accommodation on full board basis, all drinks at Moremi Crossing, Sango and Waterberry only, daily game activities (mokoros, boating, game drives and bush walks), park and concession fees, internal air transfers and road transfers, activities at Falls (tour of Falls, sunset or daytime cruise, bird walk or village visit.

July to October is peak season (dry season) but all year round can be done (cheaper rates apply).

Getting there

All flights from the UK will go via Johannesburg. Then BA and SAA operate flights to/from Maun and Livingstone.

Duration: 11 days

Days 1-2: Arrive in Maun, Botswana’s gateway town to the Okavango. Fly to your first lodge in the Delta, called Moremi Crossing. You have two nights here, from where you’ll enjoy some amazing game viewing experiences including boat trips, mokoro safaris, and bush walks.
Days 3-5: Light aircraft fl ight to your next lodge, Sango Safari Camp in the Khwai region, on the border of Moremi Game Reserve in the Delta. Your three nights here will give you lots of opportunities to spot the superb wildlife, such as big cats, wild dogs, elephants of course, hippos, excellent birdlife ...
Days 6-8: Today you fly north to Elephant Valley Lodge on the edge of Chobe National Park. Recent guests said of this spot: “It’s worth getting up early to watch the water hole. We saw seven wild dogs one morning. The game viewing at Chobe was spectacular”.
Days 9-10: This morning we drive you to Livingstone, the town on the Zambian side of Victoria Falls. See the incredible Falls, maybe take a sunset cruise on the Zambezi, or try whitewater rafting if you’re feeling fearless!
Day 11: Transfer to airport. Fly home.

Pricing guidelines for Botswana

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
