Both the Botswanan and Zambian people are generally lovely relaxed people.

we dont really feel we met the Botswana people apart from a woman an her grandchildren for a few minutes. perhaps this can be specificlaly requested from travellers who want this experience directly to the camps / lodges.

Very little exposure to the general public, but the people we did meet were delightful.

I just fell in love with Botswana and its people. I don't feel another African country could delight me as much. I tried hard to learn some setswana phrases and was pleased with the encouragement.

The holiday was absolutely wonderful - in fact, we have decided that we MUST go back. The wildlife viewing was outstanding (even though not at the optimal time), the lodges were beautiful but it was the staff and the wonderful people we met that really made this trip so memorable.
