Xugana Island Lodge is situated on a private concession on the edge of Xugana Lagoon, the largest permanent water site in the Okavango Delta. Accommodation is in 8 raised chalets constructed of reed and thatch. All have ensuite facilities and private viewing decks overlooking the lagoon. The main area consists of a lounge, bar and dining area, set under trees so shaded from the heat and also with views over the lagoon. The lodge has mature gardens and a swimming pool where guests can relax.
Both mokoro and motorboat rides are offered as ways of exploring the unique delta environment. Guests can also explore the islands of the private concession on foot. Bird watching and fishing are also popular pasttimes.
