Vumbura Plains is a luxury camp set in the private Kwedi concession in the north of the Okavanago Delta.
Recently refurbished, this is now a premier camp which is stylish and contemporary in it's furnishings with huge cushioned sofas and net drapped beds. The camp has two seperate 'statellite camps' each with seven rooms and each having it's own raised lounge, bar and dining areas, beneath shady trees. There are amazing views across the floodplains.
Each raised room is huge and square in design with clever use of the wood and space with a sleeping and lounge area, a relaxing sala outside and each having their own plunge pool The en-suite facilities include indoor and outdoor showers and there is a family suite linking two rooms.
Vumbura Plains offers game drives, mokoro excursions, boating and guided walks. This area offers a range of habits and a diversity of wildlife including red lechwe, sable antelope, lion, leopard, buffalo and elephant.
