Nxamaseri Island Lodge is one of the oldest lodges in Botswana's Okavango Delta. It is a small private luxury lodge on a heavily wooded island in the famous Okavango Delta. It is situated far north in the 'pan handle' which is surrounded by tranquil river channels and expansive floodplains.
The lodge has six en-suite chalets each with a private deck looking over the water. You can do motor boat or mokoro canoe safaris here and are transferred to the lodge by boat from the 'mainland'. Fishing is also available here.
About 40 kilometres to the west of the pan handle is the rocky outcrop known as Tsodilo Hills which rises 400 metres above the landscape and one of the best locations in Southern Africa to view Sand Rock Art.
Nxamaseri Lodge is great for birdwatching with over 300 of Botswana's 500 species found in the area.
