Maun Lodge is situated on the banks of the Thamalakane River just over a mile from the centre of Maun and some 3 miles from the airport.

All of the rooms which include 4 suites or family rooms, have ensuite bathrooms, television and tea and coffee making facilities. The deluxe riverfront suites also have private verandas. Additional accommodation is available in 12 thatched chalets.

The open air restaurant and bar provides local cuisine including delicious barbecue meals. There is a swimming pool in the grounds where guests can relax. Tours and safaris into the Okavango Delta can be arranged for guests.

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
