Leroo La Tau ('Footprints of the Lion') is located in the Makgadikgadi Pans, on the edge of the national park. The safari lodge consists of 12 luxurious thatched chalets set on cliffs above the dry Boteti riverbed and a waterhole, which attracts a variety of game. This region is home to a diverse range of wildlife, including zebra, wildebeest, lion, leopard and cheetah. Crcocdiles and hippos can also be seen here.
The guest chalets are set on individual raised wooden platforms and provide comfortable accommodation with ensuite bathrooms. The main lodge area houses the dining room, lounge area and bar where guests can relax and chat over a drink. Alternatively guests can sit round the camp fire enjoying views of the waterhole. The lodge also has a pool, perfect for cooling off from the heat of the day. Activities offered include both day and night game drives as well as waterhole viewing.
Generator power is available day and evening. Video and camera batteries can be re-charged. Chalets have plugs and torches are supplied for use overnight.
