    About Lebala Camp

    • Close Panel

Lebala means ‘wide open spaces’, and the elegant Lebala Camp is located in 2,320 square kms of private unfenced wilderness area in the Kwando Reserve in the Okavango Delta’s grasslands. Set amongst vast plains scattered with Illala Palms, Lebala Camp offers superb wildlife sightings, with elephant, hippo, giraffe, lion and buffalo all plentiful. Spotlights switched on at night give guests a glimpse of elusive nocturnal species, including leopard.

There are eight spacious, luxurious tents set on raised teak sundecks and featuring an entrance foyer, large bedroom and living area. The ensuite bathrooms at Lebala Camp have Victorian style clawfoot bathtubs, dual washbasins and flush toilets and lead out to reed-enclosed, open-air showers.  Excellent food is served in the thatched, open-sided dining room and guests can take coffee or a nightcap around the camp fire. A staff of 22 caters to the guests’ needs, and Lebala Camp has a swimming pool and a game viewing hide on site.

    Pricing guidelines for Botswana

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
