    About Kwara Camp

    • Close Panel

Kwara Camp is situated on the edge of the permanent waters in a remote area on the northern part of the Okavango Delta in Botwana and border the Moremi Game Reserve. It is located amongst tall ebony trees in 1,700 square kilometres of private unfenced wilderness.

The camp consists of 8 luxury tents accommodating 16 guests. Most of the tents are raised on teak decks to afford views over the surrounding plains and lagoon with the resident hippos. The tents all have en-suite bathrooms with hot and cold running water and flush toilets. There is one honeymoon tent, which has a bath as opposed to a shower. Each tent has its own viewing deck. There is a swimming pool where guests can cool off.

Kwara Camp offers power boating, mokoro (dug out canoe) trips, walks and game drives –all year round. As Kwara is in a large private concession the game drives can also operate off road and at night, which allows guests to see a greater range of wildlife. Amongst animals frequenting the are are hippos, crocodiles, buffalos, zebras, lions, leopards and cheetahs. The area is also famous for its diverse bird life.

    Pricing guidelines for Botswana

    • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.

For a specific personal quote based on any tailor made itinerary you have in mind, please contact us and we’ll be happy to help you.
