Gunn's Main Camp overlooks Chiefs Island and borders the Moremi Game Reserve, widely regarded as one of the most spectacular game reserves in Africa. The camp consists of 7 fully furnished, deluxe Kenya-style Meru tents. These are set on raised platforms overlooking the delta plains and all have ensuite bathrooms. The honeymoon suite is built into one of the ancient African Ebony trees and commands amazing views of the meandering waterways. The island is connected to the main camp by a small causeway crossing the wetlands and magically lit by a series of lanterns. Guests have access to the elevated bar, lounge and dining room and campfire boma. The camp also has a swimming pool. the perfect place for guests to cool off and relax. Activities offered here include mokoro and powerboat excursions into the waterways, game and bird walks on the islands in the Delta.
