Gunn's Main Camp overlooks Chiefs Island and borders the Moremi Game Reserve, widely regarded as one of the most spectacular game reserves in Africa. The camp consists of 7 fully furnished, deluxe Kenya-style Meru tents. These are set on raised platforms overlooking the delta plains and all have ensuite bathrooms. The honeymoon suite is built into one of the ancient African Ebony trees and commands amazing views of the meandering waterways. The island is connected to the main camp by a small causeway crossing the wetlands and magically lit by a series of lanterns. Guests have access to the elevated bar, lounge and dining room and campfire boma. The camp also has a swimming pool. the perfect place for guests to cool off and relax. Activities offered here include mokoro and powerboat excursions into the waterways and game and bird walks on the islands in the Delta.

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.
