About Banoka Bush Camp

  • Close Panel

Banoka Bush Camp is set on the Khwai River in the northeastern part of the famous Okavango Delta. The key attraction here is the abundant wildlife and days are spent on game drives, walking safaris and exploring the waterways. Back at the camp guests can relax on their own verandas or enjoy views of the lagoon from the lounge.

The camp is built along the tree line and is raised off the ground, making for fine views of the lagoon. There are just 10 en-suite tents, all with private verandas. There are 2 family tents which can each accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. The main area consists of a lounge, bar and dining area. There is also a viewing deck and a plunge pool, ideal for cooling off after a busy game drive. In the evening drinks can be enjoyed round the camp fire.

Banoka Camp offers day and night game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, guided walks and mokoro rides, water levels permitting. The camp adjoins Moremi Game Reserve and the area is rich in wildlife. Predators commonly seen include lion, hyena and wild dog. Buffalo, elephant, hippo, waterbuck and red lechwe are also plentiful. This is an excellent bird watching destination, too, with over 450 species of birds.

Pricing guidelines for Botswana

  • Open Panel

We hope the following will give you a rough idea of costs. These are quoted per person based on twin share for two people, without international flights but including internal flights. We’ve used good standard accommodation throughout. There are nearly always ways to spend more money than we’ve suggested (!), but these prices show a good and realistic range for each type of trip.

International flights will add from about £700 to £1000 depending on the season and route (unless the airlines have special offers). Botswana combines well with Zambia and South Africa.

For each accommodation on this website you will find an indication of the price. The bands are based on the price per person per night at peak season and are represented by the following values for this country:
