Selous Wilderness and Zanzibar

10 days from £2080pp plus international flights.

4 days of superb wildlife viewing in Selous in southern Tanzania is followed by 2 days to explore Stone Town on Zanzibar, then 3 nights at an Indian Ocean beach lodge. A wonderful trip at a great price.

Selous Game Reserve in southern Tanzania is only about a 1 hour's light plane flight from Dar es Salaam, so within a short time of arriving in Africa, you can find yourself on safari in the wilderness, miles away from everywhere. The wildlife viewing in Selous can be wonderful, and you've the chance to see a great diversity of animals from elephants, zebras, giraffes to predators such as lions and wild dogs.

Being on safari in Selous you will have the opportunity not only to take game drives, but also boat safaris and bush walks. It's adventurous and exciting, but you're looked after very well and you won't lack for comfort or good food.

After your African safari we fly you over to the Indian Ocean spice island of Zanzibar. You have 2 nights to explore the fascinating Swahili capital, Stone Town, before then heading out a gorgeous beach lodge for 3 nights. Fumba Beach Lodge is about half an hour's drive from Stone Town, and has just 26 rooms within lovely tropical gardens.

We heartily recommend this lovely Tanzania safari and beach holiday, not only because you will experience some wonderful places, but also because the price we've negotitated for this trip is very good indeed.
